Oregon Ducks left tackle Tyler Johnstone was injured in the team’s first practice of the season and left the field on a golf cart, unable to support his own weight. Andrew Greif of The Oregonian reported Johnstone’s injury, which was reported to NOT be to his knee.
It’s rough timing for Johnstone, a senior, as he has already coming off two consecutive ACL tears.
The severity of this current injury is unknown, but it would appear that Oregon’s offensive philosophy of moving as quickly as possible and putting a ton of points on the board is starting to take its toll on the players.
