Texas shocked 10th-ranked Oklahoma in the latest edition of the Red River Rivalry on Saturday with a 24-17 win at the Cotton Bowl.
The Longhorns rushed out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter against a Sooners group that came out remarkably flat. The Sooners eventually came alive in the second half, twice cutting the lead to a single score, but it wasn't enough, as Texas held on for a much-needed victory.
