Ohio State has suspended redshirt freshman wide receiver Torrance Gibson for the fall semester for violating the university's student code of conduct, the university announced on Monday.
The suspension will cause him to miss the full season. No details about the violation were disclosed.
Gibson was recruited as a quarterback before making the transition to wide receiver. He made six catches for 50 yards and two touchdowns in the Buckeyes' spring game.
