Oklahoma State's Jawun Evans is on a tear right now and should be getting more recognition as one of the top freshman in the country.
Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram deserve the attention they get, but Evans added to his case as one of the best rookies in the country with his all-around great performance (22 points, eight assists, six rebounds) in an upset of No. 3 Kansas at home on Tuesday night.
Evans was named the CBS Sports Freshman of the Week earlier Tuesday after a productive week highlighted by his 42-point outing against Oklahoma.
