College football's national signing day isn't what it used to be, but plenty of prospects still made headlines Wednesday, and some of their decisions reverberated through the final rankings of recruiting classes.
Georgia held off Alabama and Clemson to pull off another top-rated class, while Ohio State and defending champion LSU also signed great groups. Miami, Texas, Texas A&M and Tennessee made late splashes on national signing day to shoot up the rankings, too.
Then there's the other side of the coin: USC signed its lowest-ranked class in recent memory with uncertainty surrounding head coach Clay Helton.
