Nate Dogg’s son kicked off Washington for disciplinary reasons

It’s been a bad run recently for the football-playing sons of famous rappers.

Naijiel Hale, the son of late rapper Nate Dogg, was kicked off the Washington Huskies football program, coach Chris Petersen announced Friday.

“Unfortunately, that always happens. Naijiel’s been dismissed from our program,” Petersen said via The Seattle Times. “We need to move forward. Wish Naijiel the best.”

Hale was part of Petersen’s first recruiting class at Washington and actually switched commitments to the Huskies from Arizona State. He played in every game last season, making two starts while recording 12 tackles.
