Longtime NFL and college coach Monte Kiffin, the father of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, died on Thursday. He was 84.
Kiffin most famously served as the defensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers between the 1996 and 2008 seasons, helping lead the team to a Super Bowl title in the 2002 campaign.
He most recently was a defensive analyst at Ole Miss between the 2020 and 2023 seasons under his son.
