Missouri is in the market for a new head coach with Gary Pinkel retiring, and their attention is now on Matt Wells.
PowerMizzou.com’s Gabe DeArmond reports that the Tigers are going to interview Wells, who has been the head coach at Utah State since the 2013 season.
Wells took over from current Oregon State coach Gary Andersen at Utah State and went 9-5, 10-4, and now 6-6 this season.
In addition to Wells, Missouri has spoken with Temple’s Matt Rhule about their job, but it sounds like Rhule will not be taking the job.
