The Auburn Tigers (2-1, 0-1) host the Mississippi State Bulldogs (2-1, 0-1) on Saturday in an all-important SEC West showdown. Both teams—along with Alabama—currently sit at the bottom of the nation's most competitive division and another loss could be crippling for either team.
For Auburn, it is the beginning of a new era as head coach Gus Malzahn announced this week that redshirt freshman Sean White would take over at quarterback for struggling Jeremy Johnson, according to Greg Ostendorf of ESPN.
Big things were expected from Johnson this year, but with six interceptions through three games, Malzahn had to make the switch.
