When the Big Ten handed out its football awards this week, it snubbed Minnesota Golden Gophers punter Peter Mortell for an award.

No, not the Eddleman-Fields Punter of the Year award. The "Holder of the Year" award.

Mortell, who averaged 43.3 yards per punt this season, was named to the All-Big Ten Third Team, but he was still apparently feeling a bit overlooked.
