James Earl Jones, a graduate of the University of Michigan in 1955, was honored by the school in the wake of his death this week at the age of 93.

Before the kickoff of Saturday's game between the Wolverines and Arkansas State, a moment of silence was held at The Big House along with images from some of his most iconic roles shown on the video board.

Jones' agent confirmed that the legendary actor died on Monday. Michigan posted the pregame hype video for football games narrated by Jones that same day.
