Ed Davis, a senior linebacker for the Michigan State football team, is out for the 2015 season, the program announced late Wednesday night.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound linebacker suffered a “season-ending knee injury” during Wednesday afternoon’s practice. It was the Spartans’ first preseason practice in full pads.
Davis started 12 games for MSU in 2014, totaling 58 tackles.
