MEET THE NEW CFP COMMITTEE MEMBERS

The College Football Playoff Committee recently said farewell to Mike Gould, Tom Osborne, and Mike Tranghese and filled their spots (and that of Pat Haden, who resigned in October of last year) with new and eager voters. Let's meet the new committee members and learn a little about their football backgrounds!

LLOYD CARR

- Head Coach, University of Michigan, 1995-2007
- Most career bowl wins in school history (six)
- Inducted into Michigan's Athletic Hall of Honor in 2015

- Head Coach, University of Southern Mississippi, 1990-2007
- Three-time Conference USA Coach of the Year
- Led the Golden Eagles to bowl appearances in 10 of his last 11 seasons

THE SHELBY STREET BRIDGE SURGEON

- Implicated in the murders of 28 different hotel workers
- Bodies were found on the banks of the Cumberland a short distance from the Shelby Street Bridge
- Kidneys and lungs were removed from each victim postmortem

- University of Oregon athletics director since 2010
- Previously worked for Miami, Maryland, and Kentucky
- Two consecutive top 15 Directors' Cup finishes (2013, 2014)
