You’d be hard-pressed to find a college campus where there isn’t a daily pickup game amongst staffers. Be it games consisting of professors looking to get in a workout in between classes or coaches looking to get the competitive juices flowing, “noon ball” is something that has been a part of many schools for a long time and will continue to be.
At Marquette, their coaching staff has on-court credentials few other programs can match. Head coach Steve Wojciechowski’s program has eight staff members who played Division I college basketball, including himself (Duke) and assistants Chris Carrawell (Duke), Stan Johnson (Southern Utah) and Brett Nelson (Florida).
