Saturday night, Notre Dame took care of Texas with ease, posting a 38-3 win to open the 2015 campaign. But in the process, the team lost one of its best players – running back Tarean Folston – for the season due to an MCL tear. Monday morning, quarterback Malik Zaire posted an Instagram photo from the contest, dedicating the win to Folston. Check it out:

Before the injury, Folston rushed for 19 yards on three carries – all in the first quarter. Last year, he posted 889 yards and six touchdowns on the season.
