Friday afternoon, a number of reports surfaced that LSU head coach Les Miles indicated to boosters at a luncheon that he’ll be coaching his final game for the Tigers this Saturday against Texas A&M. It didn’t take long for the school to issue an official statement regarding the matter.
LSU’s statement, released on Twitter, informs fans that Miles has “not resigned” and has not “indicated” that he will be resigning. It’s an interesting choice of wording, given the situation.
Contrary to media reports, #LSU coach Les Miles has not resigned nor did he indicate he was resigning when speaking to booster group today.
