While things have seemingly fallen apart at LSU over the past month, running back Leonard Fournette provided some good news on Saturday during the Tigers' game against Texas A&M.
Hitting the 150-yard mark for the first time in three games, Fournette set the LSU single-season rushing record. LSU sent out this tweet when Fournette broke the record:
After 37 years there's a new single-season rushing record holder at LSU! Congrats, @_fournette! #GeauxTigers pic.twitter.com/mqPXBTVaSn

Fournette broke the previous mark of 1,686 yards that Charles Alexander set in 1977.
