Rutgers reportedly fired head football coach Kyle Flood and athletic director Julie Hermann on Sunday.
ESPN's Brett McMurphy initially reported the news. Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman confirmed Flood had been let go, while Ryan Dunleavy of the Asbury Park Press confirmed Hermann was out as well.
Keith Sargeant of NJ.com had reported Friday both Flood and Hermann were in jeopardy of losing their jobs. Sargeant indicated Hermann met with Rutgers president Robert Barchi to discuss her future and that she'd been kept "in the dark" during an internal investigation into the football program conducted by Rutgers' compliance office.
