Kentucky signee suffers head injury during United States U19 practice

With the roster pared down to 12 players earlier this week, United State U19 head coach Sean Miller and his staff are preparing the team for the FIBA u19 World Championships which are scheduled to begin June 27 in Heraklion, Crete.

One of the players on the roster is guard Isaiah Briscoe, a Kentucky signee rated amongst the best players in the Class of 2014, and on Thursday night the New Jersey native suffered an injury during practice.

A source confirmed to NBC Sports that Briscoe suffered a head injury during the session, and with the team scheduled to depart Friday he needs to pass a concussion test in order to make the trip.
