Whether Kansas will be the nation's new No. 1 team won't be known till Monday afternoon.
But, on Saturday, the Jayhawks sure looked like college basketball's best.
Thanks largely to a big performance from Wayne Selden, KU raced to a massive lead in the opening half and ultimately recorded a 102-74 victory over No. 23 Baylor at Allen Fieldhouse.
It was a double-digit spread for the final 36 minutes.
Selden finished with 24 points on 16 shots.
He made five 3-pointers.
And the byproduct of all that is this: Kansas is now 12-1 with four top-40 KenPom wins -- specifically victories over Baylor, Vanderbilt, UCLA and Oregon State.
