J.T. Barrett on arrest video: 'Officer, there’s nothing you can do?'

Dash cam footage Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett’s drunk driving arrest in October was published Thursday, which showed Barrett was cooperative as he performed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody.

The video was first published by TMZ Sports. A law enforcement official confirmed the authenticity of the video to USA TODAY Sports. The official requested anonymity because they had not been authorized to speak publicly.

Barrett was stopped on Oct. 31 at a checkpoint near campus. He pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a misdemeanor charge of operating a motor vehicle and was fined $400, had his driver’s license suspended for six months and ordered to enroll in a three-day intervention program.
