A Franklin County Municipal Court judge ruled on J.T. Barrett’s OVI case Tuesday morning. The Ohio State quarterback’s license was suspended for 180 days, he has to pay a $400 fine and attend a three-day alcohol education course.
Before the punishment was handed down, Barrett spoke before the court.
Barrett issued an apology to his family, friends, teammates, coaches and fans. You can watch his apology here in a video taken by Columbus’ NBC station.

“I just wanted to apologize to my family for this embarrassment and also the Ohio State football program and also Buckeye nation,” Barrett said.
