Joshua Ross, one of the nation's top-ranked linebacker prospects, officially committed to Michigan on Tuesday after entertaining offers from a slew of prestigious programs.
To say snagging Ross was a win for the Wolverines would be a major understatement. Ross graded out as the 188th-ranked player overall in the class of 2017, per 247Sports' composite rankings, as well as the seventh-ranked inside linebacker in his class.
The icing on the cake: Ross was the third-ranked player in the state of Michigan—so it's no wonder the Wolverines were hot on his tail early in the recruiting process.
