Former Alabama defensive lineman Jonathan Taylor had a domestic violence charge against him dropped Tuesday after pleading guilty to criminal mischief.
Stephanie Taylor of the Tuscaloosa News provided the update. Taylor was arrested back in March after a woman called police and stated she was assaulted by him.
Marq Burnett of USA Today reported officers found the victim had minor neck injuries and later arrested Taylor after determining there was probable cause. He was charged with "Domestic Violence 3rd Degree Assault and Domestic Violence 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief."
Alabama decided to dismiss the defender from the team as a result of the situation.
