For decades, study abroad has been a wonderful opportunity for American college students to experience other cultures by living, learning, and getting alcohol poisoning all over the world. But these programs haven't traditionally been available to football players, due to the rigorous practice schedules to which they must adhere.
The University of Florida has been trying to change that over the last few years with an exciting new offering: football-only study abroad. And the response from the participating players has been outstanding. Here's what they gained from this special travel experience.
