It might not be a College Football Playoff game, but it's still the Rose Bowl. The Granddaddy of Them All will hold its 103rd edition in the shadows of the San Gabriel Mountains as No. 5 Penn State (11-2) and No. 9 USC (9-3) square off.
The Rose Bowl is nothing new for USC, as this will be the 34th time the Trojans have played in the game, and when they've been there before, they've done quite well, going 24-9 in the first 33 games. The 34 appearances and 24 wins are far and away the most by any school in the country.
