OXFORD — Houston Nutt's lawsuit against Ole Miss, its athletic foundation and the IHL Board of Trustees was refiled in Lafayette County Circuit Court Wednesday morning.
The complaint is centered around an alleged breach of contract, breach of duty of good faith and fair dealing and punitive damages. As a result, the 46-page complaint states Nutt should receive an "award of compensatory and punitive damages the costs of this action, attorneys' fees, and post-judgement interest, and for all other relief deemed proper."
The original complaint, which was filed in federal court July 12, was dismissed by a United States District Judge on Aug.
