UAB Blazers and former Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Greg Bryant Jr. died Sunday after he was found shot in a car on Interstate-95 near West Palm Beach, Florida.
Bryant's family confirmed the news to Lynda Figueredo of CBS 12.
According to the Palm Beach Post's Hannah Winston, the 21-year-old was originally listed in critical condition after arriving at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Maurice Grover, 25, was listed as the lone passenger in the car. Grover was also transported to St. Mary's Medical Center after reportedly suffering "minor injuries."
Suspects in the shooting have yet to be named, per Winston.
