Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill announced this morning that he is stepping down from his position due to health reasons. Gophers defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys will assume the role of interim coach.

Kill has battled epilepsy throughout his coaching career, suffering multiple in-game seizures. He took a leave of absence from the program two years ago to deal with his condition.
