The Georgia Bulldogs made some college football history, becoming the first FBS team in 10 years to repeat as champions with a 65-7 win over the TCU Horned Frogs in the College Football Playoff national championship game at SoFi Stadium in rainy Inglewood, California, on Monday night.
The Bulldogs also were just the ninth program in major college football to win back-to-back national championships.
Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett set the tone for the rout, scoring on a 21-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter. He finished the game with six total touchdowns.
