When it came out earlier this year, the documentary film “The Hunting Ground” was controversial to some and provocative to others. The film went inside college campus across the country, investigating how sexual assault cases reported by students are handled … and in some cases, not handled … by the schools.
One of the universities examined was Florida State University, going into detail about the alleged sexual assault involving former standout quarterback Jameis Winston (a case where charges were never brought by the state and Winston was never found guilty of wrongdoing by the school, however a civil case is still pending).
