Frank Mason playing with sore wrist for Kansas in World University Games

USA Basketball — Kansas plus SMU’s Nic Moore and Florida Gulf Coast’s Julian DeBose — is currently 3-0 at the World University Games in Korea. But Team USA is anything but 100 percent.

Devonte Graham has been sidelined with a torn quad. Carlton Bragg, Kansas’ five-star recruit, broke his nose. And senior Perry Ellis tweaked his ankle in the a win over Brazil.

According to USA Basketball head coach Bill Self, point guard Frank Mason has been playing with a sore wrist since the exhibition games several weeks ago against Canada in Kansas City.
