Former Washington State cornerback Treshon Broughton was arrested in Pullman, Washington, on Feb. 18 after attempting to use counterfeit cash at a liquor store.
According to Chad Sokol of the Spokesman-Review, Broughton was tased and subdued by police after becoming confrontational with employees and allegedly resisting arrest.
Per Sokol, the arrest report stated that Broughton attempted to use a fake $20 bill in order to buy a lighter, which prompted the argument with employees.
Once an officer arrived on the scene, Broughton reportedly resisted attempts to be restrained with handcuffs.
