A former NFL agent admitted to paying former North Carolina Tar Heels football players Robert Quinn, Marvin Austin and Greg Little when he pleaded guilty to violating North Carolina's sports agent law Monday.
The Associated Press (via ESPN.com) reported Terry Watson said he provided approximately $24,000 cash and travel accommodations to the three players in an effort to convince them to sign contracts with him.
Watson pleaded guilty to 13 different counts of athlete-agent inducement in an effort to settle three-year-old felony charges. The AP noted "Watson received 30 months of probation and a $5,000 fine, while Judge Graham Shirley issued a suspended jail sentence of six to eight months.
