Ohio State star running back Ezekiel Elliott is the latest college football player to seek legal ownership of nicknames and popular phrases tied to his personal brand. According to the Associated Press, Elliott applied for five different trademarks including his nicknames “Zeke” and “Eze” for use on merchandise, as well as “Hero in a half shirt” and “In crop top we trust” to utilize on apparel.
But the fifth and final trademark is one for the ages – the restaurant name “Zeke’s Crop Top Bar And Grill.
