Earlier today, Ohio State’s star running back Ezekiel Elliott asked pop star Taylor Swift out on a date. In doing so, he used the incorrect “your” when he meant to say “you’re.”

Apparently, Elliott caught flak on Twitter for his grammar misstep and he wasn’t happy about it.

Elliott’s quarterback, Cardale Jones, came to his defense.

Elliott responded with some good-natured humor about how he’s going to deal with grammar critics.
