Elon University football player Demitri Allison has died after falling off of a 10-story dormitory at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Smith Jackson, vice president for student life at Elon, said in a statement that Allison "had left the Elon campus yesterday and his teammates, friends and family asked police to look for him because they were concerned for his well-being and emotional state.
