Early national signing day has arrived, meaning some of the nation's top recruits are on the verge of making commitments to their future collegiate programs. While many of the top high-school athletes have already committed, this week will still carry plenty of intrigue.
Several top recruits have only committed verbally, while others haven't committed at all. There's also time for players to flip, something quarterback Bryce Underwood recently did when changing his commitment from LSU to Michigan.
This cycle's early signing period will open on Wednesday and run through Friday. We can expect most uncommitted recruits to make their choices known in the coming days, though some may wait until the regular signing period opens on February 5.
