The Michigan Wolverines will not have one of their most notable offensive players available when they face Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl on New Year's Eve.
"I just have a lot on my mind right now," running back Donovan Edwards told WXYZ-TV on Saturday when revealing he will not play in the game (h/t ESPN's Adam Rittenberg). "I haven't really had the opportunity to look back and reflect, but for the most part, I've always been grateful for all the support that the Michigan fans have given me. ... This place will always have a special place in my heart.
