Pro-style quarterback Davis Mills, a 4-star 2017 recruit out of Greater Atlanta Christian School, announced his decision to play college football for Stanford on Tuesday morning.
Mills may be listed as the fourth-ranked pro-style QB, the eighth-best player from Georgia and the No. 80 overall prospect in the country, per 247Sports' composite rankings, but he can also make plays with his feet. Mike Farrell of Rivals.com stated following the announcement that this was "huge" for Stanford head coach David Shaw.
In addition to keeping plays alive thanks to his precocious pocket instincts, the 17-year-old has enough speed and elusiveness to gash defenses on the ground.
