Michigan-Michigan State had one of the craziest endings we’ve ever seen, up there with legendary rivalry games like the kick six. Lost on the Spartans’ amazing last second win is the injury to hero Jalen Watts-Jackson. The defensive back recovered the fumble snap by Michigan punter Blake O’Neill, taking it all the way for the game winning touchdown. He suffered a serious hip injury in the process, however, and went into surgery today. Sparty quarterback Connor Cook gave a shoutout to Watts-Jackson on Instagram this afternoon, while also thanking the MSU fans for the support.
