The 2024-25 college football season is officially over, so it's time to start looking ahead to next season. After the first 12-team playoff, we have a good idea of the types of teams that can receive bids.
For the most part, as long as a team finishes with no more than two losses and has a strong strength of schedule, it should end up in the postseason. Teams that win their conference title games are obviously guaranteed first-round byes, as well.
