A South Carolina postal worker who was injured in a collision involving Clemson defensive back Fred Davis II has filed a lawsuit against Davis and teammate Malcolm Greene, alleging the two were racing at the time of the accident.
The lawsuit, filed by Karen Lorraine Alvarez in Pickens County, South Carolina, alleges that on July 21, 2021, Davis, driving a 2021 Dodge Charger, and Greene, driving a Ford, were witnessed driving "at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of lanes, and the defendants appeared to be racing their vehicles.
