A mammoth Atlantic divisional ACC matchup, which also proved to be a Top 12 nationally ranked clash saw No. 3 Clemson defeat No. 12 Florida State 37-34 on Saturday night from Doak Campbell Stadium.
Quarterback Deshaun Watson hit tight end Jordan Leggett with a 34-yard touchdown with 2:06 left to take the lead and secure the win after trailing by eight entering the fourth quarter.
Watson threw for 378 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions and added 52 yards on the ground, while Leggett recorded 122 yards on five catches.
They had to outduel a Florida State team that was carried by running back Dalvin Cook, who ran wild with 169 touchdowns on 19 carries with four touchdowns.
