Cardale Jones Says Twitter Was Hacked After Careless Tweets

A series of insensitive messages regarding women sports fans were posted to Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones' Twitter account Thursday night.

The tweets criticized female fans for favoring teams based on their colors:

The tweets were deleted shortly after being posted.

Jones later claimed the tweets were not his, but rather his account had been hacked:

I need to change my Twitter password ud83dude21

BTW, those wasn't my tweets about females and sports, I don't comment on race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, politics or gender, goodnight

One could imagine how these tweets would not be received well by some Buckeyes fans.
