Can anyone beat Clemson? It's unlikely as the ACC continues to scuffle this season

Even given the fractious nature of college football fandom, we can probably all agree on this one thing: Clemson is really good.

Through three games, the Tigers appear very deserving of the No. 1 ranking. No concerns with that, at all. But there’s another developing story line here. And while it might not – probably won’t – affect Clemson’s run toward the College Football Playoff, it is now officially a legitimate talking point in the conversation:

Other than Clemson, the ACC is at best mediocre.
