Miami is undefeated no more.
Georgia Tech handed the No. 4 Hurricanes their first loss of the season on Saturday, holding off a late push to beat Miami 28-23.
The Canes have narrowly avoided upsets against Virginia Tech, Cal and Louisville so far this year, but didn't have enough to keep their hopes of a perfect season alive on Saturday.
Miami trailed 28-16 heading into the final seven minutes of the fourth quarter, but Cam Ward led the Hurricanes down the field to make it 28-23. Miami's defense put the ball back in Ward's hands to try to take the lead with less than two minutes to play, but a strip-sack from the Yellow Jackets sealed the win.
