It's hard to believe the college football season is more than a quarter complete. But, yes, life comes at you fast. Four weeks are already in the books and only 11 Saturdays remain until the College Football Playoff field is announced on Dec. 8.
Entering the last weekend of September, the race for the four coveted spots is starting to weed out the pretenders and accentuate the contenders.
Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma and Ohio State continue to hold their places in this week's bowl projections with none of the elite quartet being threatened on the field last weekend.
