Another weekend means more upsets and changes in the latest USA TODAY Sports bowl projections.
This week's significant victims were Wisconsin and Boise State. Both were forecasted to play in New Year's six games before respective losses to Illinois and Brigham Young. Their hiccups result in Penn State moving up to the Rose Bowl and Memphis heading to the Cotton Bowl as the Group of Five representative.
For the Tigers, their hold is tenuous with the competitive American Athletic having SMU, Central Florida and Cincinnati as contenders.
