Boise State spring game helmet causes confusion

The Boise State Broncos aren’t shy about taking risks when it comes to the football field. Remember the 2007 Fiesta Bowl? The Hook-and-lateral play that tied the game up and then the gutsy Statue of Liberty play that won the game for the Broncos in overtime? What about having a royal blue football field that nearly blinds viewers every time they watch a home game on television?

The Broncos appeared to have taken another risk when they introduced new helmets seemingly for the 2015 season.

Uni Watch weekend editor Phil Hecken posted a picture of Broncos Donte Deayon and Ryan Wolpin at practice to his Twitter.
